After 9 years of working for me, my days still amaze me. I sit in my home office in my jammies, and am connected to the world i a way i could have never imagined.
The day starts with a cup of coffee, and as i’m blogging/reading/having my first sips, i’m also typically having a morning meeting on MSN or Skype with one or two of my virtual contractors in india, Sunny and Alex.
It goes on to Canadian clients in the am, then my west coast clients afternoon/early evening. (had a client in hawaii of late, so that one often later evening as they are 6 hrs behind).
Calls, emails, MSN, skype, and gotomeetings all tools to connect and otherwise get projects going and done.
I wake up every day grateful for this business of mine. Though the days are long, the benefits outweigh the time committment. Nothing like being in a meeting lounging in the hot tub, or weeding in the garden, which i often do.
Then there’s the huge benefit of being the mistress of all things in my life… control freak that i am.
