Well we got the new pup (all 100 lbs of her!), and all is going well. She’s a dream dog in many ways, with a few kinks to iron out. She’s lovely.
We went for two off leash walks yesterday and she totally listens. The second was a night ski which she just loved. When she runs she looks like a big pony, all legs, head up in the air… did i say she’s lovely!
It’s so nice to have a dog i actually like, poor murphy, good thing he doesn’t read blogs. The things she’s got to work on are murphy like things… like she can’t leave me out of her sight. It’s only day 2 so i know once she’s settled that won’t be an issue.
It is a helpful trait when we are walking off leash, as she’s as connected outside. Dylan and damien seem to be bonding with her too, she with them…. did i say we are smitten?
